SiliconValley.com - RIM to bring BlackBerry application to rival Windows devices
You've got to be kidding me. Running a virtualized copy of BlackBerry OS on your Windows Mobile 6 smartphone? Yep, RIM is working on it and should be ready in the fall. This is an attempt to get in with the Microsoft fans I didn't expect. Truthfully, is there anything that BlackBerry can do that Windows Mobile 6 can't that I just HAVE to have?
Seriously! I haven't used mobile 6 yet, but i agree i doubt there is much difference. I do like the pearls though, being able to scroll at an angle opens up some possibilities.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I really really like about the Blackberry's are you can set a customer tone to specific types of emails. That comes in handy when you're using emails for What's Up Gold notifications, and you have multiple severity types of alarms. I dont really care if a developer box goes down at 3am , and definately don't want to get woken up for it.
That was me...OZ
