Just stick your finger in the fingerprint scanner and your credit/debit account will automatically be charged. Oh yeah, and your PIN is 666. ;-)

Da Vinci on Google - Day 7

Ok, I'm sure Google is probably giving out different Soduku puzzles for different people on the symbol challenge, but in case you get the same one I had for Day 7, here's the screenshot I took of the answer before I submitted it. Good luck!

Outlook and Frontpage 2003 for $6 shipped

Here's a deal from SlickDeals from a while back. I thought I'd post this since I ordered it and it arrived just as expected. You basically get a packet and there is a bunch of trial CDs in there, but there is also a full copy of Frontpage 2003 and a full copy of Outlook 2003. Either way, it was worth the $6 shipping to have full blown copies of each. PS, you have to have a Microsoft Passport account. Just click on the word Microsoft below for the link.

Microsoft has the Windows Small Business Server 2003 evaluation for $6 shipping. The trial package comes with 7 CDs. Two of which are the full versions of Frontpage 2003 and Outlook 2003. Thanks Vster.

HornIT's Google Page Creator Review

HornIT - HornIT's Google Page Creator Review

Google overcame their overloaded beta problem as I reported earlier and this is now open to the public. I just used Google's Page Creator to create a page and it was very cool. I can see some lesser geeky friends and family eating this kind of thing up!

Hilarious Visual Studio Site

Visual Studio 400 Differences

Funny programers? Doubt it, but their marketing people are hilarious. These "mini commercials" are a riot. Difference #256 is one of my favorites. Thanks, Gaurav!

Force Fields a Reality

Force Fields

It looks like force fields surrounding our tanks is a reality. This is a flash file that takes a long time to download. Cool news story from Fox News.

This is nothing like my childhood piggie bank. I think Eli needs one of these. :-)

VideoTones - Palm OS Software

VideoTones - Palm OS Software

Don't show this to my numerous Treo 650 users, but you can use this software to not only assign ringtones to your contacts when they call you, but also AVI movie clips! So now whenever someone from work calls, you can play that scene from the Matrix where Neo is dodging a million bullets. :-)

Frequency blocking paint - that you can override

NaturalNano - NaturalNano’s Radio-Frequency Shielding Technology

So we all know about the paint that blocks WiFi and cellular frequencies from working. Movie theatres and such want to use it to stop people from talking during movies (it blows my mind that people actually do this.) However, this is cool because they can selectively turn it on or off by putting an antenna system in there that they can leave on until the movie starts, and then shut down the frequencies once the film starts rolling. Still doesn't make for happy patrons that want to get buzzed when there's an emergency at home...

Google Calendar

Welcome to Google Calendar

It's about time! I've been waiting for Google to come out with a calendar for a while. I'll have to give it a test drive and see if it's worth anything. Luckily it has the feature I've wanted the most. The ability to share it publicly or privately with people so that they know what's going on by checking out your calendar...

End of support for Windows 98 and Windows Me

Microsoft Windows: End of support for Windows 98 and Windows Me

If you happened to be running Windows 98 or ME still (first of all, was anyone ever really running ME?) I'd guess you should wait for Vista. Of course, don't bother putting Vista on whatever machine you have running 98, it's going to be a demanding bugger, so you might as well get a new machine...

PayPal - PayPal Goes Mobile: Your money, when you want it—securely.

This would be huge in London, but I'm sure this would be big in the US as well. I have to admit I'd be tempted to pay an extra $700 to never worry about parallel parking again!
